Join us as we ride with our community partner Universidad Popular to explore while riding en masse to and through the beautiful neighborhoods of Pilsen, Little Village and surrounding communities.

We will meet at the intersection of 16th & Peoria at 10:30am. Beginning at 11am, we will begin the ride through the premier Latino Neighborhoods of Chicago: Pilsen and Little Village. We will explore on bicycles the proposed route of the “El Paseo” trail. The ride will end at the La Feria del Mole at 2801 S. Hamlin Ave. Free valet bike parking will be provided. After experiencing the festival for an hour or so, several of us will bike together back to the starting point.

Ride with us to taste moles of all types from all over the regions of Mexico at the 12th annual Feria del Mole. La Feria del Mole was created by a Little Village women’s empowerment group from Universidad Popular. Many of the women who created the event were victims of domestic violence and they’ve worked together to highlight the positive things that make them powerful and worthwhile. One of the many things several of them mentioned was: “I make the best Mole in Chicago.” So… Naturally, a competition was set to settle these claims.

Who truly makes the best Mole in Chicago? You can be a judge! Mole Tasting starts from 12 and ends at 5. There will be music, vendors, entertainment, and much more. Event ends at 6.
